How did Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM come about?

Someone asked on Facebook about how Jesus: A New Covenant ACIM came about. It feels pretty ordinary...
I have been hearing Jesus clearly for a very long time, the voice began while volunteering as a coach in Wisconsin prisons 20 years ago. I didn’t really want to talk about hearing Jesus so it took a lot of convincing by Jesus. So much convincing from Jesus through mystical visions and repeated Jesus related miraculous encounters that I marvel at how Helen and Bill jumped in so quickly to scribe the entire ACIM text.
Like Helen, Jesus told me I was embarrassed by him and he was right! For a long time I didn't say much about it until this website was created in mid 2014. I shared one of the mystical visions in the video the home page of this blog. I had been doing the Course for several years and started following prompts to go to places around the world. After so many miracles and mystical experiences directly related to Jesus --such as in and around the Garden Tomb and Holy Land in Israel, a hall of apostles in Louisiana, holy encounters lost on an Island on Bali it became inescapable that he was communicating directly about a function I was to follow as far as what would be most helpful for healing the mind. All the while I was praying for a direct and easy way to transcend personal identity.
As the chapters appeared they were shared with those interested, mostly on a small facebook messenger group that anyone interested can join and with many ACIM students at Namaste Lake Chapala. Then Jesus said to start extending Light Circles twice every day. And I was directly experiencing with Jesus how fast and helpful it is to go through with him each re-translation of the beliefs to desired experience to see through them. It was unexpected to find as I looked with Jesus at the Chapters line by line that so many beliefs from ACIM text/desires were still attractive and thus desired experiences! even though I had been an ACIM student since around 2008. This direct looking helped greatly to clear those beliefs/desires. It was like a personalized honing in on what needed to be cleared. Yet still no expectation for a book. Someone offered to make audios for the first chapters, thus the Audiobook for Chapters 1-10 was created.

Around March I shared the chapters with Vicki (Poppe) Thomas who was visiting Namaste Lake Chapala. When I heard from Jesus to go to Boston for the ACIM conference in May, Vicki asked me to talk about the book for a few minutes in her session at the conference. She offered to print the chapters (perhaps there were about 16 at the time) into a book to give out at the conference. Yet I heard from Jesus at that time not to print a book, just provide chapters. I told this to Vicki and she said, "You just keep following Jesus", so no book was printed for the Conference. I love Vicki Poppe so very much, how blessed to have this Mighty Companion so true to God. At the conference she gave me the blue light ring that I talk about in an early post. What a beautiful reminder that we are always joined.
I attended the conference with so many devoted to God. Amen. I was guided to open the Joining in Light Center in San Juan Cosala, Mexico in May 2019 with those devoted to full service to God. So no book planned or in process until about 4 chapters later—about a month ago (around June) Jesus said, it’s done, extend to all ACIM students. And that is basically how it came about. It took years to be convinced over and over and then finally not so much time needed to type once I finally said yes to the Voice for God. And to follow Jesus without exception to find the happiness of the happy learner.
Going through the beliefs and desires described in the chapters with Jesus to directly see and quickly release the denials has been beyond the beyond. Also, tuning into the Voice to hear clearly is joyful. Everyone can hear this Voice, unless there is a choice not to hear it. My experience is that sometimes- particularly in the beginning it was often more like a felt sense. Now it is a full on conversation about anything I ask about, particularly when it comes to clearing tension/pain/denial, and also for guidance instructions -what to do, who to connect with, etc. The voice is very specific and the more listening, the clearer it becomes. For instance I've been guided to read the urText and Jesus fills in the blanks when I have questions about meaning of things in the text. In a lot of ways the discussion is like the discussion Jesus had with Helen written in the notes in the first draft of ACIM. I've posted some YouTube videos where I'm asking him about different things like the underlying causes/beliefs and desires for headaches and nausea, etc. and worked through those with him. So much happiness in this.
Today I asked Jesus, is it possible for everyone to hear your voice as clearly as Helen? He says, "Yes, otherwise how would you recognize what is said in ACIM as of value?" Helpful point. There is only an idea that what appears in text such as ACIM, A Course of Love or A New Covenant is unique or special or that one being can hear Jesus more than another. This is an idea and would deny the fundamental Laws of the Truth that God is in everyone and Lesson 49, God's Voice speaks to me throughout the day. Jesus says the form it takes of listening/hearing is unique to each expression of consciousness to reduce the level of fear, as the whole world was made to deny the Voice for God. As we see from Helen's experience even though she scribed the Course beautifully she was very ambivalent and chose not to believe it or fully follow teachings of the Voice. So hearing and writing doesn't do anything, or reading the course, unless we follow what he tells us.

God is completely on our side when we choose Love over fear, as Love is our Divine Nature. The only way to the recognition of Divinity is to step outside of our comfort zone, for the ego has made a comfort zone to block the recognition of Divinity. Hiccup continually steps outside of his comfort zone in the power of faith and trust that is far beyond this world. All power is given to those who follow the Holy Spirit as Hiccup quickly discovers. Where he feared that he would be rejected for befriending a mortal enemy, it seemed to reflect out as being rejected at first, yet with perseverance to stay with what is true all the world follows and will also seem to choose love over fear.
A magician prepares to perform a magic trick where he is locked in a safe that is dropped in deep water. He tells his son to count the seconds to his escape, but when the time comes there is no seeming escape from the safe for the magician. The son holds this grievance of death of his father (desire to deny Divinity) by keeping guilt and this grievance remains hidden as the boy schemes to bring the perpetrators–those who seemed to "cause" the death of his father–to justice. Yet God does not know this form of justice. God–the Light–knows there is no victim and no victimizer, no perpetrator and no death.
