Chapter 9 of Jesus: A New Covenant covers sexuality. In the Url Text Jesus told Helen and Bill that sexuality was something that A Course in Miracles Students must understand. When you read this Chapter, you will understand why. It reflects everything that was shared in the Url text about sexuality and goes even deeper into the reasons why the desire to experience sexuality must be looked at with Jesus as a fast means for awakening to choiceless awareness because of the strong body identification in sexual experience. The chapter is NOT for discussion, rather, it is for direct experience. We have held two Light Circles on this topic and it is encouraged that everyone participates in a Light Circle on this topic for a direct experience that what he is pointing to is true. Jesus has been talking a lot lately about "A New Covenant". I've been journaling this over the last few weeks and am including Chapter 1 here in this blog. The basic nugget is: Do not pass Go, Go directly to God. Jesus says God has no "take a number." Recognize that you are infinite being now, and that you have the power to do so.
This is an interesting way to write a book. Take notes, and share the notes as you take them! In ACIM: ANC Jesus is very clear about the following:
This world is an idea that something has gone wrong, that it is possible for something to be wrong. These new teachings are meant to turn the world upside down. To obliterate the idea that there is a world apart from the Father’s will. This is quantum forgiveness, the recognition that all is forgiven now. This is the collapse of time, beyond beliefs and concepts. Beyond the idea of silence or no silence. This is the recognition that God moves fully in every being and that no being hears my voice any better than any other being. It can only appear as though they do. To teach or imply anything other than every being has the ability to hear my voice in fullness now is to deny the Father’s will. All that is needed is the willingness to follow it – follow the light within.
Wow. So I asked Jesus, "Why are you talking to me?" Two reasons: "I know you will listen and you will follow." And this is available for ANYONE who asks. It's the following part that I denied for a long time, then once it is seen how fast and easy it is to clear the denials- the happiness and joy is off the rails. So it feels like this book will be about how easy and simple it is to clear the blocks, with assignments for course groups on how to work together to see and clear blocks! We'll see what happens. This is so exciting! Feel free to share the book, it is free to everyone! Just know that occasionally I'll catch a typo, so the original link may change. The essence is clear. Joining in Light is a simple and fast means to experience immediate peace from any care or concern. Strong emotions - frustrations, anger, sadness - quickly melt in the light of our inner most being. This is the power we have as divine beings - beings of light - to focus on inner light, which quickly transforms unhappiness to peace. Even young children recognize this inner light and can transform fears and emotions to peace of mind. After placing a feeling of upset into the light, my 7 year old neice said, "It melts trouble"! Here are the basic steps for a group setting (two or more beings). Download Handout: JoininginLightCircles
Sit facing each other or in a circle. With two beings it can be very beautiful (and optional) to hold hands together cupped as depicted in the Joining in Light picture.
Open mind, open heart. This is quantum forgiveness!
Focus on the light. All beings/participants focus on light within with a willingness to be shown another way to look at how you are thinking/feeling (any upsets that are coming to mind.
Place any perceived darkness (any thoughts, fears, emotions) in the shared light. This can be done for everyone at once, or each person one at a time. The Spirit works fast and in both situations.
This is equally powerful said out loud or offered in silence - either way works!
Pause in silence for a few moments with open mind and open heart, relax. You may notice a shift in the feeling and the inner voice for truth may be heard.
Share your experience. If it feels appropriate, share what you felt and heard during the session.
A repeat round may be helpful. If helpful pause another moment and ask the light, "Is there anything else that is helpful for me to release today?" If something arises repeat the light circle session.
Also helpful: Writing in a journal after the session to capture your thoughts and experience.
With practice, Joining In Light can be used on any upset, even when you are alone!
As confidence grows in the true power we have as light beings, this light can be explored in Silence. This is light is the great, pure, unchanging, unborn awareness that is true identity.

T-1.I.25. Miracles are part of an interlocking chain of forgiveness which, when completed, is the Atonement.
A recent trip to Dallas and then New Orleans felt like an interlocking chain of miracles! A few weeks ago I heard the prompt to drive to Dallas to meet with ACIM groups in the area. I stayed with Virginia, a Mighty Companion who studied the course with me 10 years ago. I connected with Judy (pictured in this post), the leader of a group that has been studying the course together over 15 years and meets about 10 minutes from Virginia's house. They started off studying ACIM and are now studying A Course of Love (ACOL) - which continues the teachings of ACIM. They welcomed me warmly to join their session on a Thursday morning. I felt so inspired with this meeting that we agreed to have another session together the following Monday. So much love!!
During our lunch on Monday after our group session someone asked, “Where are you going next?”, and I shared that I was headed to a family reunion where I wasn’t quite sure what the easiest way was to cook grits for 90 people… perhaps crock pots would be helpful. Debbie, the host for the ACOL meetings mentioned that she had two of them to give away. The next day I drove toward Louisiana with two crock pots in the back seat! Yummy batchs of slow cooked grits later the reunion is complete with 2 crock pots to share and 2 huge trays of left over cole slaw.
Called a local food bank and was referred to Pamela McKay. She provides food every Wednesday to those in need in Covington, LA. When she stopped by to pick up the coleslaw she said, “I received guidance from God that I was to serve Him by having this food pantry and that everything would be provided” … e.g. food and utensils. “I didn’t know what food we would be having for everyone this week, but I knew God would be providing it. I trust God to provide it every week. Now this week I know we are having coleslaw for lunch.” Someone just donated a building for her kitchen- and now she has “tools” from God - two crock pots. She is delighted.
She also recently received donated land so she could have a community garden. “I am in so much joy following His command. I do exactly what He tells me no matter what anyone else says. God gave me this name ‘God’s Unchanging Hands Feeding Ministry’ because He never changes, and no matter how many people tried to get me to change it I said this is what God wants it called. I just don’t worry about anything because I know He will handle it."
Meeting Pamela was like a mini session on happiness and devotion to following the Holy Spirit in ACIM and ACOL. This week she texted pictures of the first community garden planting. (pictured left)
Visiting Virginia, an ACOL meeting and crock pots from Dallas to God’s holy purpose in Covington, LA all part of the interlocking chain of forgiveness- interlocking chains of miracles until it is remembered that it is all a spectacular miracle.
