Healing is an act of thought by which two minds perceive their oneness, and become glad. This gladness calls to every part of the Sonship to rejoice with them, and let God Himself go out into them and through them. (T-5.I.1)
We talked about the power of joining to shine through darkness and that this repeated joining to deny the separation can open our minds to the recognition of the Holy Instant.
Lesson 189. I feel the love of God within me now.
There is a light in you the world can not perceive. 2 And with its eyes you will not see this light, for you are blinded by the world. 3 Yet you have eyes to see it. 4 It is there for you to look upon. 5 It was not placed in you to be kept hidden from your sight. 6 This light is a reflection of the thought we practice now. 7 To feel the Love of God within you is to see the world anew, shining in innocence, alive with hope, and blessed with perfect charity and love. W-189.1
A world in which forgiveness shines on everything, and peace offers its gentle light to everyone, is inconceivable to those who see a world of hatred rising from attack, poised to avenge, to murder and destroy. (W-189.3-5)

Holy Spirit keeps saying: Join, join, join, join, join!
Here is a summary of the steps for Joining in Light:
- Open mind, open heart.
- Focus on light, extend light to your brother.
- Ask for God’s will.
- If it feels guided, join open hands together and imagine the light joined.
- Place any mis-perceived darkness in the shared light.
- Pause with open mind and open heart, relax and notice (let Spirit do the heavy lifting)
- Listen quietly, often the voice of the Holy Spirit can be heard providing comfort, wisdom or direction.
- Share your experience as guided.
- Thank God.
