Trust & The Hunt for Red October, What does Jesus Say? Spiritual Movie Review

The Power of Trust to go all the way to Spirit Awakening.

…nothing which you are about to see ever happened.

The movie, Hunt for Red October, opens with the words, “…nothing which you are about to see ever happened.” Jesus teaches us that all war is in the mind, a false story that the Holy Son of God could be separate from the Father. This story never happened. Yet because the story seems real, Jesus must help us re-interpret stories to undo concepts of death and destruction. Finally we must trust that we are more than the idea we have of ourselves! This is to finally admit that the dream of the ego could never happen.

This submarine movie is a “deep dive” into the subconscious mind in order uncover and release the desire for attack and to feel attacked. The ego relishes the experience of attack. It also relished the thrill of chasing and being chased, the guilty pleasure of playing “cat and mouse” and the hunter and the hunted. The ego relishes the experience of mystery and intrigue, the classical “who done it” to discover who is guilty. The Spirit would have us know all is Innocence.

This movie is an excellent opportunity to release the desire to “take sides” over what is believed to be is “right and wrong”. Heaven can never be found in taking sides because as soon as there are “sides” there are two, and two is always denial of the One.

See the power of joining for waking up to Divine Light.

Trust & The Hunt for Red October, What does Jesus Say? Spiritual Movie ReviewAt the height of the Cold War, the Soviet Union, the “enemy” to the United States, launches a new nuclear submarine that is silent and virtually undetectable. Because the ego’s only function is to misperceive threat, in the play of the world this submarine is now a “potential threat” to the United States. Joining is the solution!

The question is “Is the submarine Captain, Marko Ramius (Sean Connery) defecting to prevent the start of a nuclear war or is armageddon imminent as the ego claims?” Counter to those who “fear” this sub and this captain, Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin), a desk agent for the C.I.A., has faith that Captain Ramius is seeking only to join. It can seem like “defection”, yet in truth this is a call to join. Jack feels unprepared for the assignment, yet he steps unfailingly right into high function in service to the whole, unwilling to let fear stop his purpose to follow and answer the call to join with Ramius.

Trust Settles Every Problem Now. ACIM

Trust & The Hunt for Red October, What does Jesus Say? Spiritual Movie Review

These two characters are a powerful demonstration of singleness of mind in trust and purpose to see what is true. Trust is essential for dropping old identity and thoughts about attack and war. Death seems imminent with constant torpedoes (attack thoughts), yet the Spirit reveals our true power to focus past fear and release the desire to experience attack.

This “deep dive” to see where Love is denied is willingness to see things another way. Captain Ramius steps out of an old identity of attack and war by joining in purpose with Jack Ryan, a CIA agent. He must trust a possible “enemy”. The the symbol of “turning over” the sub is resigning the old role as one of the USSR’s “finest captains” for something new. The Spirit uses his leadership skill for a new purpose as former enemies stand together on the holiest place on earth, where ancient hatred turns to present love. Mighty companions join together in trust to complete the mission.

In this singleness of mind and purpose many join to see Trust & The Hunt for Red October, What does Jesus Say? Spiritual Movie Reviewthings a whole new way beyond attack and fear. Dropping old identity through the willingness to join and staying in purpose regardless of the circumstancesas demonstrated by Ryan and Ramiusis the fastest means to the peace that surpasses understanding.

Armageddon, the end of the world, is merely the dropping of personal identity to the celebration of the peace of God. As Ryan says to Ramius at the end of the movie, “Welcome to the new world.”

The Hunt for Red October is a clear and powerful demonstration of key teachings of Jesus:

  • Trust settles every problem now, trust your brother as he is yourself,
  • unequivocally follow the call to join to see what is true;
  • unwavering commitment to go all the way with the Holy Spirit;
  • the value of walking out of old identity;
  • the value of trusting mighty companions/Jesus without question;
  • recognition that we are more than the idea we have of ourselves.

Passion of Mind, What does Jesus Say? Spiritual Movie Review

Passion of Mind, What does Jesus Say? Spiritual Movie Review

Passion of Mind- or "Passion to keep the wrong mind"- the desire for an experience of pretending we can be apart from the Father's will. This movie is a deep look at the miscreation- how fantasy is used by the ego to miscreate scenarios that deny Love is here now. This movie in particular is excellent at showing the miscreation of characters in the dream - lovers, children, parents to seem to compensate for the unhealed wound of miscreation of a world (dream) in which we feel helpless and incomplete. By day Marty (Moore) is a high-powered single literary agent who "lives" in Manhattan and by night she "lives" in the beautiful countryside of France, a mother with two children. Two seeming dreams, two men who express love for her. Which one is true? As long as the desire to hide from the Light is buried deep below the level of awareness, all stories will seem "true", and the struggle to find "truth" will continue. Yet the Holy Spirit will show the way to see how love is denied through stories, and through forgiveness and seeing things another way, we finally accept the truth of who we are.

At the end of the movie Mighty Companions shared what Jesus told them about the movie and looked at the desires of the ego to deny Love is here, and release desires to the Light through miracles.

Go for Jesus,

Love,

Snow Walker, What does Jesus Say? Spiritual Movie Review

Release the hidden subconscious desire for the experience
of lack and abandonment.

Snow Walker, What does Jesus Say? Spiritual Movie Review

Snow Walker is a beautiful demonstration of purpose--the only purpose of the world being to release hidden desires to deny inner Light. This purpose leads to the discovery that Love gives all to love, unending.

This movie highlights the desire of the main character, Charlie Halliday, "to do it alone". This is a deeply hidden subconscious desire to maintain a sense of lack and abandonment. Charlie's refusal to be open to the help of the Spirit is a demonstration of the deep arrogance that maintains a sense of separation. This arrogance must be washed out to truly open to Love.

Charlie demonstrates the true power of changing his mind to accept help from the Holy Spirit as the direct means to find the way to all the happiness there is now. In this we see we can never be forsaken or abandoned because Love is always available. We can only chose to dream a dream of abandonment through keeping desires hidden that relish, and thus manifest, the experience.

In the summer of 1953, Canadian bush pilot, Charlie, a brash, former Second World War bomber pilot based in Yellowknife, is flying a routine job in the northwest territory of Canada near the Artic Circle when he encounters a small band of Inuit people who plead for his help. They are traveling with a sick young woman, Kanaalaq (which means "Walk well, my brother" in Inuit), and they ask Charlie to fly her to a hospital. At first he refuses, but when they offer him two valuable walrus tusks for his help, he reluctantly agrees to take her to Yellowknife. The plane crashes, which seems to be the possible end to "life", yet Charlie learns this is just the beginning of the recognition of true Life, and it all comes through joining with a very mighty companion, Kanaalaq. A beautiful demonstration of the true power of Joining in Light!

Charlie thinks he is "emotionally wounded" from the war. This is a grievance - the belief that we can do something wrong, which is buried deep in the subconscious mind. Healing is giving up the grievance to see that all is given, all the help that is ever needed is always here. Trust would settle every problem now.

Where’d You Go Bernadette?—Spiritual Movie Review!

Where'd You Go Bernadette?—Spiritual Movie Review!Beloved Mighties,

Where'd You Go, Bernadette? is a spectacular wake up movie -- "we can never know what it will look like", yet we are carried by Love when we follow the inner Voice for Love and admit what we have been denying all along! ?

This is a great movie revealing the desire to deny Love through storytelling, avoiding true function (Expression of Divine Light), admitting denial, following intuition and stepping outside of comfort zone to find only Love is here!  At first it may seem that we will not be supported in following, yet ultimately everyone joins in the happiness.

Mr. Robot, Last 3 Episodes—Spiritual Movie Review!

Beloved Mighties,

Mr. Robot Spiritual Awakening movie reviewThe Last three episodes of Mr. Robot, Season 3 Episodes 11, 12, and 13 comprises an unforgettable “Wake up Movie” of all wake up movies—definitely a 10 out of 10 as spiritual movies go, or as we say at the Center “A Cease to Deny Divine Light” movie.  These three episodes of Mr. Robot watched together comprise one of the best “movies” of all time  for the recognition that Love is here!

Desires to deny Divine Light demonstrated in this movie include:

  • the desire for the experience of killing the Light/God/true self from awareness;
  • not wanting to see that the Light is here, running from the Light;
  • the desire for unholy relationship to avoid admitting miscreation;
  • how memory is misused to deny Light;
  • the miscreation of characters and assigning roles in a dream;
  • the refusal to hear messages from Spirit that things are not as they appear;
  • hero of the dream;
  • Face of Innocence;
  • the desire for an experience dreaming/distorting the creations of God;
  • the desire for false perception/fragmented consciousness;
  • the desire to author yourself;
  • anger at the Holy Spirit/unwillingness to follow the Holy Spirit/Jesus;
  • Avoiding admitting the dream when called to wake up from the dream;
  • the desire to usurp the power of God;
  • the desire to create your own reality/belief in time; and
  • the evolution of hero of the dream to true salvation!

This “movie” has it all!

???Elliot (Rami Malek), a brilliant but possibly “highly unstable” young cyber-security engineer and “vigilante hacker”, becomes a key figure in a complex game of global dominance when he and his shadowy allies try to take down the what seems to be a corrupt corporation, E-corp, where he works. This is the struggle to prevail over the mysterious White Rose to “save the world”. The key questions are always “What is it for?” and “What am I?” and there is only one answer–Light! The ego is always “highly unstable” as the ego is the denial of Light, the only true consistency and stability there is. At the beginning of the movie Jesus had us read the four core beliefs of the ego thought system from ACIM as further elucidated by Jesus in Chapter 20 Jesus: A New Covenant to reveal the underlying desires associated with the core beliefs!

Four Core Beliefs of the Ego

  • You believe that what God created can be changed by your own mind. Thus you desire an experience using your mind to attempt to change what God created perfect and to experience imperfection. You desire an experience of change to deny changelessness.
  • You believe that what is perfect can be rendered imperfect or lacking. Thus you desire to experience feeling you are imperfect or lacking to deny divine perfection. You desire an experience of projecting imperfection as a world apart from yourself for the experience of imperfection and lack.
  • You believe that you can distort the creations of God, including yourself. Thus you desire an experience where you experience distortions in the creations of God, including yourself.
  • You believe that you can create yourself, and that the direction of your own creation is up to you. Thus you desire an experience in which you create yourself and the direction of your own creation is up to you. You desire an experience of directing creation apart from God and thus to feel left homeless by your Creator.

Release the hidden desire for hero of the dream

Elliot starts out the "movie" as the hero of the dream—attempting to save the world. He discovers over time that things are not as they appear to be, and he is not who he thinks he is. It seems that in the ways of the world Elliot is suffering from a strange condition similar to schizophrenia which he attempts to "keep under control" by regularly taking both legal and illegal drugs and visiting his therapist. This is a great symbol for a split mind. The real condition is always the insanity of "Denial of Divinity"—that Infinite Light, and thus Love, is here now!

Mr. Robot, Last 3 Episodes—Spiritual Movie Review!Mr. Robot (Christian Slater), a truly helpful Holy Spirit character, plays multiple roles, including co-conspirator and advisor, the owner of a computer store (Mr. Robot), an "insurrectionary anarchist" that "recruits" Elliot, a "kind father figure" as well as "an abusive father"! Which one is it?!! The ever-changing roles in this drama are great examples of how the ego writes the script and assigns "roles", yet the Holy Spirit can transform the roles into mighty companions who call us out of the dream. Salvation of the world can never come from saving bodies, and thus we cannot assume a new identity and a better life through killing an "enemy" which the ego would have us believe. True salvation is merely ceasing to deny that Light and Love are always here!

If you have not seen it, these last three episodes are highly recommended for all those who joining to go through Chapter 20 together with Jesus to clear the denials listed above. Chapter 20 gives many of the beliefs from ACIM (including the four core beliefs) and clarifies the associated desires. To find out how to join with a partner to ask for Jesus' help clearing desires (denials of Light) in Chapter 20 (and in ACIM), follow this link.
