V for Vendetta, What does Jesus say?—Spiritual Movie Review!Beloved Mighties,

V for Vendetta is a beautiful and powerful demonstration that it is impossible to know what anything is for and that Holy Relationships and the recognition that Love is here can bloom out of the most seeming impossible pairings.  Yet the Holy Spirit has a plan to bring together what once seemed to be divided.  V seeks "vengeance" for what he thought happened to "him" and thus to kill all those "responsible".  This is the play in consciousness, an unending loop of victim and victimizer to attempt to push Light of Infinite Love from awareness.  Yet he meets Evey and they come together in what seems to be an impossible situation only to transcend fear and discover Love is always here.  This is our only purpose--the purpose of Mighty Companions and through the Holy Spirits use of Holy Relationships in purpose to transcend the idea of fear, to true forgiveness, accepting all the Love that is already here.  A person would claim that "somebody did this to me", yet Jesus leads us to see that indeed, "God is in the rain."

Hacksaw Ridge—Movie Review! Decision to follow Light in every circumstance.

Beloved Mighties,

This true story of Desmond Doss is a powerful demonstration that it is possible to hear Jesus, the Voice for God, in every circumstance, even under what seems to be "horrific war conditions" in one of the "bloodiest battles in the pacific theater of WWII". All war is in the mind, the war of thought, which is an attempt to obscure the recognition of Infinite Light within. Desmond felt the call to serve, seemingly his country, yet his true service was to demonstrate the Course teaching, "In my defenselessness my safety lies."  When we follow the Light within, it may seem at first that there are many, many reflections in beings around us who express doubts about what we are doing.

Desmond refused to go into war with a gun and in the ways of the world, this would seem insane to go to war without a gun. These are only our own doubts, the desire to deny the Light is here, that are arising in awareness to be cleared from the subconscious mind. Yet without direct looking with the Light--Jesus--to see clearly that these are denials of Divinity, and admitting the desire to have thoughts that are not of the Light through the desire to experience something other than Light, these doubts will reappear until they are cleared.

Desmond refused all attack thoughts and accepted following the Voice for God within. The ego's plan is to fight back, yet Desmond refused to fight--in virtually EVERY circumstance--this is the path to peace. As soon as we pick up a gun or sword in our mind it is to attempt to attack what we are, as there is only One and thus no one to fight. He is a beautiful symbol of the power of innocence--converting an entire battalion of men to follow him, as he became the symbol of the Light within, the Light of truth. And in this we offer only salvation for all-- all being celebration of the One. This is perfect happiness.  Mel Gibson commented on the film, "That's why I think it is a love story, and not a war film."  We're with you, Mel.  Go for God!

Predestination—Movie Review! See there is only You.

Beloved Mighties,

Truth appears to be stranger than fiction—that we are Infinite Light seems stranger than the fiction of the world—because there is a desire below subconscious awareness to deny the truth, Infinite Light within. Jesus says we (the ego desire to deny Divinity) want the truth to feel strange, so we can push the Light of Infinite Being out of awareness!

This movie seems very strange at first, yet what it points to is natural and powerful. There is only One, there is no "other". Waking up from the dream of suffering is seeing there is no one who "did it to you", it is all desired experience, an appearance within consciousness to pretend to play as more than one. As soon as there is the idea of an other, victims and victimizers are "born" in the dream of separation and suffering.

This 2014 science fiction thriller is an opportunity to look with the power of the Light at the belief in a story line, the belief that there is a "me", the idea that someone "out there" is doing something to a "me". While the lead characters are looking for the fizzle bomber—the idea that there is someone who can bomb and someone else who can die from the bomb and thus may be saved—the hunt in form for a victim and a victimizer, the Light of Truth reveals that neither the victim nor the victimizer exists. One character asks another, "If I introduce you to the one who ruined your life, would you kill him?"  This is the hunt in form for somebody who done me wrong song. Proof that something is occurring, that in the Light of Truth can never occur.

This is the ego desire to kill and be killed, the death wish. This movie has it all—it points back to the decision to deny Divinity and that there is only One—there is no we, only the One speaking to itself and pretending there is more than one. It is the perfect demonstration of Chapter 9 on Sexuality in Jesus: A New Covenant—the answer to Jesus' question, who are you having sex with? Click here to download the chapter.

Finding the fizzle bomber is to find the Self only in the Light of Truth. No perpetrators, only desired experience, the fulfillment of the desire to experience death, abandonment, pain and suffering—all self inflicted. All made up characters. Thankfully, God has a better plan for perfect happiness, the Light that does not know desire to experience "other".
